Meet at Sarett to travel down to the New Buffalo boat launch where we will paddle to the Galien River County Park. Afterwards we will stop at Ghost Isle Brewery where we will continue to enjoy the marsh while drinking a pint of beer. We will provide the kayak, paddle, PFD, and naturalist expertise. Stream surveys are a great way to learn the health of our waterways. The more weird insects you find the better the health! Come learn stream survey protocol and find some cool macroinvertebrates while you're at it! Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Old tennis shoes, muck boots or waders are recommended.
