Scholarship with Michigan Nature Association
The Michigan Nature Association (MNA) is offering field trip grants for the 2026-2027 school year to assist teachers in developing fun, educational, and hands-on field trips for teaching students about the natural environment. The $500 grants can cover bus transportation, program fees, and educational supplies for field trips to eligible natural areas, including local nature centers, MNA sanctuaries, state parks, or other conservation lands deemed suitable for field trips. MNA is especially interested in applications from schools with limited access to and ability to visit natural areas.
Fall Semester Trips – applications for fall semester trips should be submitted by September 13th, 2026 for consideration. Awards announced the week of Sept. 21st.
Spring Semester Trips – applications should be submitted by December 11th, 2026 for consideration. Awards will be announced late January 2026.
