Sarett Scholarship Application

Sarett Nature Center offers a reimbursement to cover costs associated with participating in a Sarett field trip. This grant can be used to cover student fees, transportation, or a combination of both. Multiple field trips from the same school can participate in the grant, with a maximum of $1,000 per school for the 2026-27 school year with amounts past the maximum being approved on a case by case basis.

Please fill out the application form and send it to our Education Coordinator, Juliet Golob, at julietg@sarett.org, along with a copy of your school’s W-9 form for review.

This is an ongoing scholarship with no deadline.

Scholarship with Michigan Nature Association

The Michigan Nature Association (MNA) is offering field trip grants for the 2026-2027 school year to assist teachers in developing fun, educational, and hands-on field trips for teaching students about the natural environment. The $500 grants can cover bus transportation, program fees, and educational supplies for field trips to eligible natural areas, including local nature centers, MNA sanctuaries, state parks, or other conservation lands deemed suitable for field trips. MNA is especially interested in applications from schools with limited access to and ability to visit natural areas.
